Start your own VoIP Business

Do You want to start your own VoIP business?

If your answer is YES then this blog is an appropriate for you. Just relax and read out full article.
First of all you have to know about VoIP and should understanding this technology. Here we are trying to clarify VoIP in details.

Voice over IP, or VoIP is one of the fastest growing business sectors today. Buying wholesale  VoIP services and equipment, and reselling them, can be a very lucrative  venture. What's needed, though, is a ready-to-roll solution that will get your new VoIP business up and running quickly and starting bringing in bucks.

In order to choose the best wholesale VoIP supplier, it's a good idea to understand how VoIP works. VoIP lets people use the internet to transmit phones calls, rather than traditional telephone circuits. Voice signal is translated into data packaets  by a special device (ATA box, USB Phone, IP Phone, Mobile, Pc2phone etc.)
Here's how it works:

Data packets from the VoIP device is sent to SoftSwitch with server infrastructure, where it is then converted back into regular voice and sent to an international voice carrier for termination at the recipient end of the call. The recipient does not need any special equipment to receive the call.

Many people buy VoIP service because it is convenient and flexible. The VoIP device can travel with the user, providing phone service anywhere there is a broadband internet connection. Eventually, VoIP will completely replace traditional telephony. that means this is the time to get on board by starting your own business selling VoIP service.

More interesting is the reseller opportunity. As a reseller you are usually provided your own website/code where your customers buy VoIP hardware, call minutes etc. They are treated as your customer and you get a percentage of your customers ongoing spend. Most often the client is tagged to you for as long as their account is open with your VOIP supplier.

Being a reseller means that as you grow your customer base, your income also grows.

Among the advantages to using a VoIP connection for your phone calls are:

* Long distance calls are usually significantly cheaper than for a standard phone line.
* As long as you already have a DSL internet connection you can use your existing computer to make the call.
* There are now VoIP cordless and corded phones available, so making a call is a easy as using a standard phone.
* If you have a VoIP phone, you can carry it around with you and make and receive calls from anywhere you can get internet access.
*Some nice add on features are available like automated recording of phone calls, seeing when your friends have their phone on, video conferencing and sophisticated messaging options.
* Its a growth market with good uptake and increasing number of hardware product releases.

There are some weakness too:
* Call quality can be variable.
* You can only talk to someone if their computer or hardware is turned on.
* Dialing into a VoIP phone from a carrier network can be complicated with some VoIP service providers.
* You are unlikely to be able to use the phone when the power goes off. i.e. no emergency calls.
